Swann-Daingerfield House

Project Overview

The historic Swann-Daingerfield home in Old Town, Alexandria was originally constructed in 1802, but was added onto and reconfigured many times. Our renovation restored much of the original layout and involved a complete overhaul of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, all new bathrooms, a new kitchen, and extensive restoration of plaster and millwork. Every room in the home was renovated.

The most recent phase of the project involved a whimsical update to the basement, an unfinished and dark space before our renovation. We added an entertainment room, full bath, workout area, laundry, additional storage, and a wine cellar with a wet bar.

Custom modifications included transforming antique furniture into vanities, and crafting custom cabinets, millwork, and doors throughout the residence.
